Suzhou Village
No one can deny the sheer theatricality of Suzhou Village, located on the western shore of Yangcheng Lake Peninsula, in historic Suzhou, one of the oldest cities in the Yangtze River Delta region. Influenced by Venetian and Medieval design, the Village blends present and past with the Silk Studio, a throwback to the time of Marco Polo where guests can learn about the ancient art of weaving silk. With all the romance of an Italian resort and all the ambition of a Chinese city, Suzhou Village is a triumph of authentic local focus blending true regional character and elegant international sensibility.
The Village is reached in under 30 minutes by high-speed train from central Shanghai, and since its opening in 2014, we have grown a talented team of some 200 colleagues.
