About the role                                                                   

As the PR & Influencer Manager (interim), you will work with the PR and Communications team to create and implement an influencer strategy for the Villages in Spain. You will  research, network and manage relations with key influencers and digital KOLS  to promote the right image and messages to consumers, the press, tourism professionals, internal staff, and brand partners, with the overall goal of increasing footfall, revenue, and the luxury shopping destination image.

In addition to designing  and executing the Influencers plan, you will help develop all  the different actions in the quarterly PR plans to ensure the optimal positioning of the Villages in local and international media in order to  achieve organic and qualitative stories and coverage.

Key responsibilities

The key responsibilities of this role will include some or all the following.

INFLUENCER MANAGEMENT

  • Design and implement the influencer plan on a yearly and quarterly basis for the two Spanish Villages.
  • Develop  press and influencer events and collaborations with influencers to promote the Village at tactical level ( Key commercial momentums ) as well as for raising the awareness and the positioning of the destination.
  • Create and update  the data base of influencers profiles, in order to properly select the most convenient talent for each action for each Village. Constantly scan for new talent both local and with a strong focus on international markets  with a significant weight on the business.
  • Benchmark best practices and new formats in the digital landscape that will result in better content, better  zeitgeist,  better engagement rates and  wider reach.
  • Manage  and control budget for Influencer campaigns at both Villages.
  • Manage external agencies in the briefing process, follow timelines, budget adjustments. Efficiently coordinate the assistance of the Village PR Coordinators for each influencer  visit.
  • Secure all the influencers  visiting the Villages ( own and sent by Central team)  get proper directions and assistance in the making of their content as well as great hospitality and PR.
  • Coordinate and produce travel itineraries for journalists and/ or  influencers.
  • Organize travel arrangements, gift cards, and gift bags, and coordinate visits.

 

PRESS AND PR

  • Help build a public relations strategy  each  quarter, aligned with the group's strategy and enhance the Village's credibility.
  • Define and coordinate the local, national, and international public relations strategy, with a clear focus on national and regional strategies.
  • Help manage external public relations consultants and press agencies.
  • Provide press releases, talking points, and materials for visits.
  • Develop relationships with top-tier journalists and secure high-quality editorial coverage in target media.
  • Oversee the production and promotion of all Village press tools.
  • Manage, monitor, and analyze reporting processes and tools.
  • Coordinate effective internal communication of the Village's public relations position to all departments.

 

About You

We are looking for an individual who can display the following experience and skills:

  • Degree in Advertising, Digital Marketing  or Communications.
  • + 5 years’ experience in an international public relations and influencer management role, ideally in the luxury retail industry. Experience in managing multiple press agencies and projects.
  • Understanding of digital marketing and general digital trends.
  • Organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to communicate at a high level both in writing and verbally.
  • Ability to create engaging and interactive contents
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Strong organization and prioritization skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Able to work well with all levels across the business
  • Fluency in English and the local language of the Village, with other European languages being a plus.
