We are looking for a Retail Work Experience to join our Retail team at La Roca Village.

This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in luxury retail operations, working closely with our Retail team and Brand Partners while contributing to projects that support the day-to-day success of the Village. You will gain exposure to retail operations, brand engagement, communications, and activations, while developing valuable business and professional skills.

This placement is designed for students currently undertaking relevant studies and is offered for an initial period of six months, working Monday to Friday for a minimum of 4 to 6 hours per day. Subject to academic requirements and mutual agreement, the placement may be extended for a further six months, providing an excellent opportunity to deepen your experience and continue your professional development within The Bicester Collection.

What you'll do:

  • Support the Retail team in the day-to-day management of Brand Partners and retail operations.
  • Assist in coordinating communications, retail initiatives and Village activations.
  • Support data gathering, reporting and administrative activities related to retail performance.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of retail projects.
  • Help maintain strong relationships with Brand Partners and support their operational needs.
  • Participate in meetings, projects and cross-functional initiatives to gain exposure to different areas of the business.
  • Provide support for events, campaigns and seasonal retail activities.

Who you are:

  • Currently studying a degree, vocational qualification or equivalent related to Business, Retail, Marketing, Hospitality or a similar field.
  • Eager to learn and develop within a fast-paced luxury retail environment.
  • Proactive, organised and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • A collaborative team player with strong communication skills.
  • Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of assigned tasks.
  • Resilient, adaptable and flexible in a dynamic environment.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish; additional European languages are an advantage.

 

 

Background & Skills:

  • Degree education or equivalent qualification is preferable.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational and prioritisation abilities.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrates a positive attitude, willingness to learn and strong attention to detail.
