As our Head of Retail Operations, you will be responsible for working with the Bicester Village flagship Retail leadership team on strategic planning, key commercial growth initiatives and implementing the delivery of operational best practices and new technologies.

This role is being offered on a maternity cover basis.

What you will be doing

• Developing and executing strategic commercial & operational plans that drive sales growth with Retail and Deputy Directors.
• Leading from a retail and 360 village perspective to drive impact, identifying new business opportunities which promote innovation and productivity.
• Use data to provide insights into performance of commercial plans.
• Collaborate cross functionally to drive the delivery of operational best practices and new technologies for Bicester Village.
• Manage and mentor direct team of 3 to deliver flagship operational excellence support across the retail team and 160 brand partners.
• Budgeting, forecasting and monitoring to ensure costs remain within budget as well as delivering saving opportunities where possible, reporting on a monthly and quarterly basis.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures aligned with auditing and legal teams.

What makes you special

We are looking for an individual who can display the following experience and skills:

• Degree education or relevant qualification is preferrable
• Proven experience in a similar or senior management role for a minimum of 5 years
• Able to work well with all levels across the business and customers with a creative and open minded capability to adapt to a fast pace environment
• Strong analytical skills with a data led mindset
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail
• Able to work on short term tactical requirements, whilst balancing a longer term strategic view
• Strong project management skills, a self-starter and entrepreneurial mindset
• Fluent in English, any other European language would be beneficial
