The Procurement Team within Value Retail is an agile team which partners with a wide variety of stakeholders and suppliers across a number of different categories of spend in all our European Villages. The team is currently undergoing a transformation in the way in which we provide support to our stakeholders, and our objectives are to provide appropriate and relevant Procurement support in a fast-paced, exciting business where Procurement is regarded as a business partner.

What you will be doing

The key responsibilities of this role will include some or all the following:

• Be the primary point of Procurement support for the IT, HR and other central teams on Procurement matters.
• Lead or support specific sourcing initiatives from strategy, through RFx, to contracting, and ongoing supplier relationship management.
• Provide Procurement and Commercial support to stakeholders on a variety of a number of Supplier-related items.
• Work closely with senior stakeholders (e.g. CIO) on supplier related initiatives.
• Support the Procurement Transformation team on a variety of initiatives including Contract Management, Supplier Relationship Management, Supplier Onboarding, Procurement Policy and reporting.

What makes you special

We are looking for an individual who can display the following experience and skills:

• Experience of leading or supporting the IT category of spend, along with experience of at least one of the following categories of spend:  HR, Marketing, Operations, Development.
• Contractual, commercial, sourcing experience gained in a fast-paced organisation, potentially in different European geographies.
• Experience of negotiating spends from £1m to £20m.
• Business partnering and interpersonal skills.
• Sound and pragmatic commercial and contractual knowledge (including licensing, SaaS and other relevant IT terms and conditions)
