Programme Manager

As our Programme Manager, you will be responsible for managing successful delivery whilst ensuring projects and services are stable, reliable and well supported.

You will be the single point of contact for the business and IT management team and will lead the exploitation of a portfolio of projects, ensuring that the aims and progress are understood, standards are followed and quality is consistently high.

About the role

• Facilitate the development of a strategic plan to deliver IT & Business change
• Develop and drive a continuous improvement culture across the Business & IT Team
• Ensure solution design is approved, and resulting product is secure, stable and well supported
• Manage the delivery of features in the Product Backlog using a combination of inhouse and nearshore agile development teams
• Manage status reporting of programme and projects to Project and Steering Boards
• Complete full system and user testing and sign this off prior to implementation
• Complete quality assurance reviews to monitor the quality of programme/project deliverables
• Maintain project methodologies, to ensure a consistent use of processes and practices
• Coach and mentor team to ensure adoption and consistency
• Lead internal Centre of Excellence team to deliver business support and small enhancements

Role requirements

• Minimum 7 years’ experience in project management, at least 4 of which are leading multiple projects or large complex business change programmes
• Formal programme & project management qualifications
• Experience managing high profile programmes
• Able to shape, mobilise and lead technology programmes to deliver internal business change
• Excellent stakeholder management - primary point of contact for senior stakeholders and 3rd party providers
• Experience at leading updates and reporting into Steering Group level
• Relevant experience managing a portfolio of projects
• Experience in full spectrum of Software Development Lifecycle
• Understanding of Salesforce tools and technologies
