The Junior Business Analyst is co-responsible for delivering a high standard of analysis and support to influence the overall business & decisions that will maximize Maasmechelen Village’s revenue.

 

What you will be doing

  • Manage weekly, monthly & quarterly reports in coordination with your line manager.
  • Manage the ad hoc requests for information from the Local and Central Leadership teams.
  • Support in providing analysis for the budgeting and reforecasting processes.
  • Provide your daily support in presentations and meetings preparations and follow-up.  
  • Proactively suggest areas of opportunities for business improvement regarding internal processes and procedures.
  • Ensure all company systems, database information and Brand records are fully maintained accurate and up to date.
  • Prepare business presentations to ensure all parties receive accurate, relevant information and expectations are managed.
  • Review documents for accuracy and consistency providing recommendations to the departments.
  • Manage the approval process and ensure follow up by well monitored documentation.

  • A Master's degree (TEW, Commercial Sciences,..)
  • A first experience (maximum 2 years) in an analytical function is a plus, not a must.
  • Fluent in English (both in writing and speech). Any other language is a plus.
  • Analytical skills
  • Computer literate and exceptionally skilled in: Microsoft Office, Excel, Google analytics/trends.
  • Experience in preparing reporting, research and collecting relevant data.
  • Financial acumen with exceptional numerical and data analysis skills.
  • Able to extract conclusions from data.
  • Good project management and presentation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organization skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to prioritize your work to meet tight and multiple deadlines.
