Communications Manager

About the Role

As our Communications Manager, you will play a key leadership role in shaping and delivering our communication strategy to build strong brand awareness and drive footfall growth. You will be responsible for creating a cohesive messaging hierarchy and comprehensive communication plans tailored to our diverse audience segments, aligned with our Village Calendar and strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a Messaging Hierarchy that guides all communications, based on audience segmentation and the Village Calendar.
  • Create integrated Communication Plans for all marketing and partnership activities & ensure brand consistency and alignment across all communication efforts.
  • Manage and coordinate the efforts of channel owners (website, app, media, newsletter).
  • Provide leadership to the Social Media team for alignment with communication goals.
  • Partner with Content Manager, ensuring visual identity and storytelling align with overarching communication plans.
  • Lead planning and collaboration with our Media Agency, in partnership with the Assistant Digital Manager.
  • Collaborate with Retail Marketing to plan communications around brand openings and Village activations.
  • Partner with Guest Engagement and Private Client Services to manage communications related to membership and private clients.
  • Work closely with the Partnerships Team and external partners to identify and execute co-branded communication opportunities.
  • Develop and deliver regular performance-based reports to evaluate the effectiveness of each channel and its contribution to footfall growth.

About you

  • Degree in Marketing or Marketing Communications or equivalent qualifications are preferable
  • Proven experience in a similar Communications or Marketing role
  • First class background in corporate communications
  • Strong project management and cross-functional leadership skills
  • Experience managing external agencies
  • Analytical mindset with experience in performance reporting
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Fluent in English and Dutch, any other European language would be beneficial
