The Visual Merchandiser is responsible for ensuring that the visual and floor displays of the Village stores are consistent with the standards and procedures that are applied across all Value Retail Villages and for ensuring a thorough follow-up with the local teams, with the overall aim of maximising sales at the Village.

 

What you will be doing

  • Guide and support both the boutiques and the retail team with creative visual merchandising and presentation to increase sales through visual excellence and constant variety of product and window display.
  • Act as the key liaison and contact person for any creative actions or goals in the boutiques, both in-store and windows.  
  • Provide support as needed for specific merchandising action/installation for any boutique requested by Retail Manager/Director.
  • Coach the Store Managers to increase their understanding of how to maintain a good visual standard in their windows and on the shop floors.
  • Liaise with the appropriate teams in the Village with the distribution of props, signage and display
  • Analyse how visual presentation can impact sales and search for new trends and inspiration to make our visual message stronger to our guests
  • Ensure the signage is coherent and develop new ideas with the Visual Merchandising team
  • Assisting the Visual Merchandising team on projects where needed
  • Be responsible for the assessment of the store standard and the effectiveness by working closely with Merchandising and Retail Manager

  • Previous experience in a visual role working with Fashion luxury & Life style brands
  • A solid commercial understanding of how good VM standards can positively impact on sales
  • Knowledge of and focus on principles for exceeding customer expectations
  • The ability to see the whole picture – from assessing the needs of a Store, to exceeding customer services standards, to assessing and evaluating satisfaction
  • Knowledge of and natural sense for colour, balance, and composition
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Pack office –Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
  • Loves and excels in FAST-PACED environment
  • Eye for Detail
  • Fluent in English
