Part of The Bicester Collection, Wertheim Village doesn't do ordinary. Nestled within one of Germany's most picturesque wine-growing regions, just 50 minutes from Frankfurt, our open-air, pedestrianised Village is home to more than 110 boutiques, a celebrated food and drink scene, and a team that refuses to stand still.
The Retail Development team is hiring an Assistant Retail Development Manager (m/f/d).
The role
This role is responsible for supporting the successful delivery of boutique development projects across Wertheim Village. Working closely with brand partners, consultants, contractors and internal departments, you will coordinate fit-out, reconfiguration and temporary boutique projects while ensuring compliance, quality and timely execution. You will play a key role in maintaining the Village's premium retail environment and long-term asset quality.
Location: This role is based on-site at Wertheim Village
Starting minimum salary: 52.000 EUR
What you'll be doing
A few of the key responsibilities in this role:
• Boutique Development Delivery — Coordinate fit-out, reconfiguration and temporary boutique projects, ensuring quality and timely delivery
• Compliance & Technical Assurance — Manage approvals, permits and technical documentation in line with company standards and local requirements
• Stakeholder & Process Coordination — Work closely with brand partners, consultants, contractors and internal teams to support project delivery
• Project Administration & Reporting — Maintain project records, reporting and invoice tracking
• Cross-departmental Liaison — Ensure effective communication and collaboration across departments

• Relevant Experience – Experience in retail development, construction, property or project coordination, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Technical Capability – Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint) and working knowledge of AutoCAD
• Organisation & Attention to Detail – Highly organised, proactive and able to manage technical information and documentation accurately
• Stakeholder Management & Communication – Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build effective working relationships
• Initiative & Problem-Solving – A proactive approach, sound judgement and the ability to identify and implement practical solutions
• Languages – Fluent in German and English (written and verbal); additional European languages are advantageous
