The Media Manager will report to the Head of Media & Communications, working in collaboration with the media agencies, the wider Village Marketing team as well as Central teams.

The Media Manager will have oversight on media planning, coordinate campaigns, supporting development/application of local insights, managing day to day processes/operations. The Media Manager will also be responsible to manage agencies delivery, creating briefs and overseeing successful implementation of campaigns and technology to help elevate measurement and reporting.

 

The ideal candidate will be passionate about retail business and how that translates into media objectives both domestically and internationally to support marketing campaigns to drive traffic and footfall, and grow the Village’s presence offline and online.

 

What you will be doing

The Media Manager is accountable for overall media planning & buying workstreams ensuring key deliverables are met by the agencies and extended marketing and should demonstrate strong strategic, innovation and leadership skills. Tasks this individual should be responsible includes:

 

  • Develop and implement the media strategy across all platforms
  • Support the Head of Media & Communications developing the media strategy and the integrated planning across Paid, Owned, Earned.
  • Briefs agency and leads the development of strategic planning and integration of POE based on business targets and marketing objectives
  • Briefs content team and collaborates with social, website, emails coordinators for assets consistency across all comms platform
  • Manage agency teams ensuring strategic recommendations aligns with business and marketing objectives, cultural trends and consumer insights
  • Maintain strong relationship and collaboration with the media agency
  • Collaborate with the extended marketing team for content production based on media activity and desired audience journey when impacted by 360 comms activation
  • Manage financials via Salesforce and Oracle, raising POs, working with finance to ensure invoices are paid in a timely manner and reporting on a monthly basis to Head of Media & Communications on the status of the budget
  • Proactively monitor campaigns performance advising through insights and learnings for campaign optimisations and works with agencies for optimisation
  • Develop and execute ongoing media presentation
  • Manage a Media Coordinator and work closely together

  • +6 year’s experience, preferably in-house or within a media agency, including significant time dedicated to media across all channels : Digital, TV, OOH, Radio, print
  • Demonstrate mastery of the Microsoft suite, Powerpoint, Excel, Google Ads, Facebook Manager, Asana, PowerBI
  • Languages : fluent in FR and UK
  • Experience in managing and implementing digital campaigns
  • Display a solid understanding of the KPIs necessary to optimize media performance
  • Great verbal and written communications skills, with the ability to confidently and clearly present work to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Applying long-term vision to short-term projects, finding ways to streamline, automate, innovate, or improve the quality of the output over time.
  • Excellent numeric and analytical skills, with the ability to relate results to business objectives, and translate statistics into insight and actions.
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams in an efficient manner
  • Ability to manage agency team, providing clear briefs and managing their time/priorities
  • Experience in using industry tools such customer data platforms, ad-servers and analytics stack (Google)
